VILLAGE OF FLORIDA – Three small children, approximate ages two
to four years old, sustained moderate injuries when the stroller they
were in apparently rolled down a driveway and into the street at 48 Jayne
Street in the Village of Florida.
A passing vehicle struck the stroller pushing it forward. None of the
children was tossed out in the accident that occurred at about 5:30 p.m.
Thursday.
One child was taken to Westchester Medical Center as a precaution due
to a head injury. The other two children were transported to Orange Regional
Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill by Warwick Ambulance.
The driver of the car, who a source said was not at fault, was checked
for trauma.
