POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in Poughkeepsie are looking for a suspect in the shooting of a 47-year-old man who sustained two gunshot wounds minutes after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
The victim, who was located in the area of 53 Smith Street, had been shot in the hand and leg. The wounds were not believed to be life threatening, police said.
Investigation revealed the shooting took place in the area of 99 Thompson Street.
