KINGSTON – The winner in the online voting for a new Greenkill Avenue Bridge design in Kingston was announced on Wednesday.

Mayor calls this a “wonderful design”

Mayor Steven Noble said the winning design received 682 votes.
“This pilot process for soliciting public input was a success,” the mayor said. “Not only did the public select a wonderful design, but the healthy dialogue that came out of this initiative was a great indication that our residents and stakeholders have a desire to be involved and give input.”
Noble said he plans to “expand our community engagement strategies to reach the broader public when future projects come up, using a variety of outreach tools, including online and paper surveys, phone interviews and in person focus groups.”
