MID-HUDSON — Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump will be speaking
to a campaign rally at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie Sunday
evening and it is expected to draw even more than the thousands who attended
Democrat Bernie Sander’s rally at nearby Marist College in the Town of
Poughkeepsie days ago.
Prior to going to Poughkeepsie, Trump is going to make a pitstop at his
alma mater, New York Military Academy in Cornwall.
That meet-and-greet will be by invitation only after Trump flies in by
helicopter.
He will apparently not be the only game in town on Sunday.
Democrat Hillary Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea is also expected in the
region when she is scheduled to address supporters in Kingston Sunday
evening.
