NEW PALTZ – The former business manager of a Town of New Paltz company
has been arrested and charged with felony grand larceny for allegedly
stealing some $62,000 from the company.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office investigated following the business
owner discovering those financial losses.

Following an investigation by the sheriff’s office and Ulster County
District Attorney’s Office, which included a review of financial
records, Paula Donaldson, 43, of Highland, was arrested on Thursday evening.
It is alleged that a large number of checks from the business had been
deposited in her personal bank account.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future
