WURTSBORO – A Bloomingburg man is in custody after he was arrested burglarizing a home in Wurtsboro Hills.
State Police were called to the residence on Sunday afternoon and saw Steven Manny, 32, jumping out a second-story window. He was caught after a brief foot pursuit.
Police said Manny had forced entry into the home through a rear sliding glass door. He was charged with felony burglary and sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
Troopers credit observant neighbors with alerting them to the crime.
