Kingston woman arrested on charges of forging several checks

KINGSTON – A City of Kingston woman was arrested and charged with
forging and cashing a number of personal checks at a local bank.
State Police charged Emily Battle, 30, with grand larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument. She allegedly forged and cashed 29 personal checks from an Ulster Savings Bank account.
Battle was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
