Traffic stop leads to seizure of 100 pounds of pot

MONROE – A Jamaican National from Queens was arrested by State Police after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of 100 pounds of marijuana in his car.
Clinton Campbell, 39, was driving on Route 17 in the Town of Goshen on Thursday when troopers conducted the stop. He was also found to be driving with a suspended New York driver’s license.
Campbell was charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana and committed to the Orange County Jail pending further court action.
