CLAVERACK – A man and woman have been arrested in connection with
a residential burglary on Route 23 in Claverack.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office investigated the March 7 incident
and arrested Joseph Moore, 29, and Kristen Bishop, 33, both of Claverack.
They were arrested after investigation by the sheriff’s office and
Hudson Police. Both individuals were cooperative and made admissions of
their involvement in the burglary. They were each charged with felony
burglary and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash
bail or $5,000 bond.
The Columbia County District Attorney’s Office also assisted in
the investigation.
