Poughkeepsie warrant search leads to arrest on gun and drug charges

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man is in the Dutchess County Jail following a warrant search at a 150 Winnikee Avenue apartment.
The search on Friday was the result of an investigation into marijuana distribution at that address based on complaints from area residents.  As a result of the investigation, police seized some 5.5 ounces of marijuana, a loaded .32 caliber revolver and $3,085 in cash.
Tyree Moseley,, 34, of 156 Winnikee Avenue was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon, both as misdemeanors.
The investigation was conducted by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department’s Neighborhood Recovery Unit, Emergency Service Unit and Patrol Division.
