Two arrested on charges of selling drugs in Woodstock area

Drugs, cash and fake gun seized in warrant search

KINGSTON – Police officers assigned to the Ulster Regional Gang
Enforcement Narcotics Team and Woodstock Town Police arrested two people
on drug possession charges.

In early January, an investigation began regarding the sales of heroin
in the Woodstock area.

Officers executed a search warrant at 165 Ohako Mountain Road in the Town
of Woodstock in the late afternoon of February 4 and arrested Allen Martin,
56, of Woodstock, and Marnie Henry, 38, of Saugerties. A third person
was also located there.

Seized in the raid were 1,087 decks of heroin with an estimated street
value of $15,000, three-quarters of a pound of marijuana, 1.2 grams of
crack cocaine, drug packaging materials, methadone, an imitation handgun
and $9,825 in cash.

Martin was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled
substance, criminal nuisance and criminal possession of marijuana. He
was also charged with misdemeanors of drug possession and criminal use
of drug paraphernalia.

He was committed to the Ulster County Jail without bail.

Henry was charged with misdemeanor drug possession and released on a court
appearance ticket.
