POUGHKEEPSIE – A Hyde Park man who is a registered level 2 sex offender was arrested late Tuesday morning on active search warrants for felony burglary. City of Poughkeepsie Police, who arrested Theodore Smith, 31, also charged him with failure to register or verify his address as a previously convicted sex offender.
Detectives were assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and Hyde Park Police.
Smith was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
