Albany man convicted of fourth alcohol-related driving offense, in Ulster court

KINGSTON – An Ulster County Court jury has convicted Albany resident Michael Mink, 40, of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both felonies, for his fourth conviction for an alcohol-related driving offense and second felony DWI.
Mink was caught on deputy sheriff dashboard video driving into a gas station parking lot at Queens Highway and Route 209 in the Town of Rochester on February 20, 2014, despite claims by his girlfriend that she was driving.
Mink also refused to submit to a breathalyzer test when arrested for DWI.
He was found guilty on Monday, February 1.
