Three Newburgh women arrested for KJ burglary

MONROE – State Police have arrested three women from the City of
Newburgh for allegedly burglarizing a home in the Village of Kiryas Joel
and stealing several pieces of jewelry. The women worked as a home cleaning
service. They made admissions regarding their involvement in the burglary,
police said.

Gladis Aguilar, 32, Tania Borjas-Garcia, 34, and Yorleni Varela, 30, all
of Newburgh, were charged with felony burglary, arraigned and remanded
to the Orange County Jail.

Troopers said it is believed the women were involved in several burglaries,
some unreported, within Kiryas Joel. Anyone with information is asked
