Teenage girl injured in bike-car accident

WOODSTOCK – A 14-year-old female bicyclist sustained non-life threatening
injuries on Thursday when she rode into the path of a car driven by a
Woodstock man.

The girl entered Zena Road and crossed into the path of the Chevrolet
Camaro at 2:45 p.m., police said.

The girl was airlifted to Albany Medical Center for treatment. The driver
of the car was not injured.

No traffic tickets were issued at the scene and the investigation is continuing.

Woodstock Town Police, State Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s
Office investigate. The Woodstock Fire and Ambulance departments also
assisted.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact the Ulster
