Middletown man charged with stabbing coworker

NEW HAMPTON – A 60-year-old Middletown man has been charged with
assault and possession of a weapon after he stabbed a co-worker during
a dispute last Friday night.

State Police said it is alleged that Pedro Trinidad-Montano stabbed his
coworker, Martin Valle-Perez, 37, also of Middletown, in the left thigh
with a pair of scissors at Goodness Gardens in New Hampton.

Valle-Perez was transported by ambulance to Orange Regional Medical Center
in the Town of Wallkill where he was treated and released.

Trinidad-Montano was charged and remanded to the Orange County Jail in
lieu of $2,500 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
