MONTICELLO – A New York State trooper is being credited with rescuing two people from a Monticello residence where a kitchen fire had erupted.
Trooper Lindsey Seigerman, assigned to the Wurtsboro barracks, was in
Monticello when the fire broke out on Wednesday, January 6 and she was
flagged down.
She ran inside the house at 87 Harmony Avenue to find the kitchen full of smoke and removed two occupants, said Captain Brian Shortall. Seigerman was transported to Catskill Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released for smoke inhalation.
