MIDDLETOWN – A former teacher at the Enlarged City of Middletown
School District is charged in a federal criminal complaint with possession
of child pornography, school district officials announced.
They said Matthew Sauer, a biology teacher, allegedly possessed the images that had been sent electronically from the Philippines.
Sauer has not taught at all this school year, resigned from his teaching position and is no longer associated with the school district, officials said.
