KINGSTON – A 24-year-old man is recuperating in the HealthAlliance Broadway Campus hospital after being shot.
On Monday at around 2:10 p.m., Kingston Police responded to the area of O’Neil Street at Bruyn Avenue for a report of a man being chased by several individuals with a gun. When they arrived on the scene, they located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Police say after being treated at the hospital, the man was listed in stable condition.
Police continue to investigate several leads. They say the victim was the intended target and the public is not believed to be in any danger.
