Port Jervis authorities issue stern warning after toy gun found in student locker

PORT JERVIS – City and
school district officials are taking very seriously the discovery of a
plastic toy gun in a student’s locker at the middle school on Friday.

Both agencies are working together to address the incident.

School district officials told parents to “reinforce with your student(s)
that having or displaying what appears to be a weapon is strictly prohibited
student conduct.”
