Town of Newburgh police revive woman with Narcan

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A 35-year-old woman, who was found unresponsive with shallow breathing in a guest room at the Super 8 Motel in the Town of Newburgh Sunday night, was revived with the narcotics reversal drug Narcan.
Police were called to the motel for an unwanted party and found the woman with several used hypodermic needles nearby.
Officers administered the opioid reversal drug and within a minute, she regained consciousness and her breathing returned to normal.  The woman was transported to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh for further evaluation.
