TOWN OF ULSTER
– A man was struck and killed Friday evening by a train on the tracks
off Ulster Avenue just east of Spiegel Brothers Paper Company in the Town
of Ulster.
The 6:30 p.m. incident on Friday, November 13 involved a 19-year-old Kingston
man who was leaving work in the area when he was walking southbound in
the gauge of the tracks. He was struck by a southbound train in the CSX
yard and at the time it is believed he was wearing ear buds.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
