KINGSTON – Police in Kingston arrested a local man on a charge of armed robbery after he allegedly threatened people with a knife just before noon on Saturday.
Frank Watson, 40, of 11 Main Street in Kingston, was arrested after he allegedly brandished a knife, making threats and stealing less than $500. The incident occurred near the intersection of Wall and John streets.
Watson was placed under arrest and charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, both as felonies, and misdemeanor menacing.
The investigation is continuing.
