Nunez
GOSHEN – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested on Friday and charged with a murder that took place in November 2011 in the Town of Ulster.
The Orange County District Attorney’s Office had been appointed special prosecutor in the case.
Gilberto Nunez, 48, of Poughkeepsie was arrested by Town of Ulster police on a charge of felony murder in connection with the death of Thomas Kolman. The felony complaint alleges that on November 29, 2011, Nunez intentionally caused Kolman’s death by inducing him to ingest a substance that killed him.
Nunez is held without bail in the Ulster County Jail pending a future court appearance.
Orange County DA David Hoovler said Ulster Town and State Police assisted in the investigation of the case.
