POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested early Tuesday morning in the city after the car in which he was a passenger was stopped by Poughkeepsie Police.
Officers pulled over the car on Mansion Street and Park Avenue after they observed Jason Brewster, 34, of Poughkeepsie, driving. Police knew his license had been suspended. Once confirmed, he was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
The passenger, Frank Anderson, was patted down by officers and found a loaded revolver, later determined to have been stolen, in his front waistband.  He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
