Four arrested on Greene County drug charges

CATSKILL – State Police arrested four people following execution of a search warrant at 53 Lakes Mills Road in Cairo.
The arrests culminated a three-month-long investigation by the State Police, Greene County District Attorney’s Office, Cairo Town Police, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Capital District Drug Enforcement Task Force and State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
Seized in the search were eight grams of crack cocaine, 17 grams of bulk heroin, and 166 additional bags of heroin along with a quantity of cash. The drugs had a potential street value of some $15,000.

Arrested were Muhammad Muriel, 37, of the Bronx, charged with felony drug possession; Furman Gilmore, 42, of Cairo, charged with felony drug possession; Michael Richardson, 38, of Cairo, charged with criminal nuisance as a felony, and misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal use of drug paraphernalia; and Jessica Richardson, 30, of Cairo, charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminally using drug paraphernalia as misdemeanors.
Michael Richardson and Gilmore are in the Greene County Jail without bail. Muriel is held in lieu of $200,000 cash bail or $400,000 bond. Jessica Richardson was issued an appearance ticket.
