FALLSBURG – Town of Fallsburg justice candidate Amanda Ward has received the endorsement of retired Town Judge Isaac “Yits” Kantrowitz.
The former judge said Ward has “an impressive resume” with a law degree from Hofstra, teachers at Sullivan County Community College, is a senior director for Workforce Development at the Center for Discovery and “an extensive community service background.”
Kantrowitz said Ward’s “reputation as a fair and compassionate person makes her perfect for the job.”
Kantrowitz served for 30 years on the bench in Fallsburg Court. When he retired, the town court named the courtroom in his honor.
Ward has the endorsement of the Republican, Conservative and Independence parties of Sullivan County as well as the New York State Troopers PBA.
