GOSHEN – Acting Orange County Medical
Examiner Dr. Jennifer Roman has been appointed as the county medical examiner.
She had been serving in an acting capacity since May following the resignation
of Dr. Charles Catanese.
Christopher Viebrock, who had been acting county public works commissioner
since late October 2014, was appointed to that position on a permanent
basis.
County Executive Steven Neuhaus had appointed both provisionally subject
to county legislature approval, which came last Thursday.
