Man charged with punching supermarket employee in face

WOODRIDGE – A man, who was allegedly banned from the Woodridge IGA Supermarket because of prior unruly conduct, has been charged with going back there and punching an employee in the face. That worker fell to the pavement and sustained injuries.
Woodridge Police arrested William Limbert, 36, of Woodridge and charged him with assault in connection with the incident on Wednesday.  Limbert was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
