KINGSTON – The Civil Service Employees Association has endorsed Kingston Mayor Shayne Gallo for reelection this fall.
The union represents a large segment of city employees.
Gallo said the success of his administration has been the partnership he has with Kingston’s government workforce.
“I think we have demonstrated that the city is moving forward primarily because of the cooperation and the hard work of doing more for less from the CSEA and from the other public employees from the fire department and the police department,” the first-term mayor said.
Gallo faces a Democratic primary challenge in September from city employee Steven Noble, nephew of Common Council President James Noble.
