DOVER – State Police arrested two Dover residents on charges related to criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis, both as misdemeanors.
Troopers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call on July 12 at a residence on Gobblers Knob Road in the Town of Dover. Officers found several potted marijuana plants growing inside and outside the residence.
Alicia Scaperotti, 29, and Jeremy Gamache, 33, were arrested. Gamache originally took off on foot but was apprehended later that same evening.
Police also arrested Vincent Jones, 33, a neighbor, for tampering with physical evidence as a felony and unlawful possession of marijuana. He allegedly attempted to conceal evidence by taking a few of the marijuana plants from the suspects’ property.
Gamache and Scaperotti were sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Jones was issued an appearance ticket.
