CHESTER – The Chester-based company
that operates a facility to sterilize medical supplies has been approved
by the Orange County Industrial Development Agency for financial incentives
to construct a second one.  Isomedix will develop an adjacent parcel
of land.
IDA Associate Executive Director Laurie Villasuso said the agency has been granted the tax breaks they sought.
“They were approved for the sales and use tax exemption and the 10-year PILOT,” Villasuso said.  “They are building a second facility in Chester.”
Isomedix employs 110 people and will add 25 new jobs when it builds the new 61,000 square foot facility.
