STEWART AIRPORT – One of only eight Marine Corp Harrier jet demonstrations
scheduled this year will take place on August 29 and 30 at the New York
Air Show to be held at Stewart Airport.
The Harrier has the ability to hover and perform a vertical takeoff and
landing.
The New York Air Show at Stewart will be only one of two air shows in
the East Coast to feature the Harrier.
The Stewart event will also feature the Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team,
Navy /F-18F Super Hornet Demo Team, Navy Seals Leap Frogs and the Army
West Point Parachute Team.
