POUGHKEEPSIE – The man who was found shot in the head on a Poughkeepsie street last Thursday, has died, city police announced Sunday.
The 21-year-old man, said to be a city resident, was found about 9:40 p.m. on June 30, in the road near 200 Mansion Street. He had a single gunshot wound to the head.
An autopsy will be performed Monday.
Police say the investigation is progressing and leads are being followed up on. So far, no arrests have been made.
