MONTICELLO – Police in Monticello
are investigating a Sunday night drive-by shooting in which a man was
shot in the right leg and left calf.
He was taken to Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris for treatment.
Village Police said the 28-year-old local man told them he was walking
on Park Avenue near the intersection of Osborn Street when he was shot
from an unknown green vehicle with a loud muffler.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Monticello
Police in confidence at 845-794-4422.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
