POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie
are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight on Palmer Avenue
near Church Street.
Police responded at around 12:30 a.m. Monday and found a 19-year-old city
man with several gunshot wounds to his body.
He was transported to the hospital where he was treated and admitted.
Evidence of a shooting was located on Palmer Avenue, police said.
