Monsey man arrested on T’way for possession of drugs

SUFFERN – State Police have arrested
a Monsey man with several drug possession charges after they stopped to
render aid to what appeared to be a disabled vehicle on the Thruway in
Suffern on Thursday.

During an investigation, troopers found the driver, Jason Tamburr, 30,
to be in possession of small amounts of heroin, hashish, Suboxone sublingual
strips, psilocybin, LSD, two glass smoking pipes with crack cocaine and
marijuana.

He was charged with five misdemeanor counts of drug possession and a violation
of unlawful possession of marijuana and issued appearance tickets returnable
to Suffern Village Court.
