TOWN OF ULSTER – A car driven by a 100-year-old Saugerties woman on Route 9W in Saugerties late Friday afternoon, struck an 84-year-old man, who was crossing the road.
Town of Ulster Police said Kathryn Schneider hit Bernard Smith as he crossed the road. He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie by Mobile Life Support Services with a head injury.
Ulster Police were assisted at the scene by State Police, Ulster Hose Fire Department and Mobile Life.
