HIGHLAND MILLS – The Woodbury Town Democratic Committee has a new chair. Willa Freiband replaces longtime chairman Manny Mangual.
Freiband is also president of Orange County Democratic Women.
“After the untimely passing of Woodbury Town Supervisor John Burke, Democrat, the committee will rebuild so that it can focus on finding and helping Democratic candidates run for local office,” she said.
Freiband said this is “a critical time in Woodbury. Local elections matter in determining the direction of our town.
