Molinaro
POUGHKEEPSIE – Republican Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro,
who is seeking a second four-year term this November, has captured a second
line on the ballot.
The Independence Party Monday announced it has endorsed him for reelection.
Molinaro “has moved Dutchess County forward over the past three
years, most notably the improved financial condition the county is in,”
said County Independence Party Chairman Dennis Zack. “He has demonstrated
sound planning and reasoned strategies for resolving the issues we face
as a county.”
Zach said the party has interviewed both candidates –Democrat Diane
Jablonski and Molinaro – and “our choice is clear.”
He said “no one has worked harder bringing people together to confront
challenges facing Dutchess County and its residents than Marc Molinaro.”
