PAUPACK TWP, PA – A White Sulphur Springs
man was killed in a one-car crash in Wayne County, Pennsylvania when his
car ran off a road and struck a tree on Monday.
Pennsylvania State Police identified the victim as John Schmidt, 71, who was driving the car. Troopers said the vehicle struck the tree off Everly Road in Paupack Township, spun around and rolled onto its roof.
Schmidt had to be extricated and was dead at the scene.
