HILLSDALE – A Hillsdale woman has been arrested and charged with
13 counts of failing to provide sustenance to animals.
State Police investigated allegations of possible animal neglect in the
Town of Hillsdale. Police found 10 horses and three calves were unhealthy
and not given proper care.
As a result, police arrested Marjorie Hansen, 58, of Hillsdale, who was
arraigned and ordered to reappear in Hillsdale Town Court at a later date.
The animals were placed in the care of the Columbia-Greene ASPCA.
