Trial bus service in Poughkeepsie to be terminated

POUGHKEEPSIE – Trial bus service to the Boardman Road Library in the City of Poughkeepsie is going to be terminated because of low usage and demand.
The “Shoppers’ Special” bus route to the new library was implemented effective on April 20 for a four-week trial period.
As a result of the low ridership and demand, city officials said Friday that the stops at the Boardman Road Library would end on Monday, April 18.
