Bomb scare leads to evacuation of Monroe-Woodbury High School

HARRIMAN – Students at Monroe-Woodbury
High School were evacuated late Wednesday morning after a bomb threat
was received.

The students were taken to the adjacent Middle School while State Police
investigated the situation walking the halls and checking classrooms for
anything suspicious.

Police K-9 units trained to detect explosives were employed.

School officials said students were returned to the high school and dismissed
on schedule at 1:58 p.m.

After-school activities were held as scheduled.
