Ulster tax auction nets the county 2.5 million

KINGSTON – A total of 101 parcels
out of 188 offered sold on Tuesday at public auction held by Ulster County
Government.

The amount of bids offered came in at slightly less than $1.7 million
with unpaid taxes on bid properties at a little more than $1.5 million.

Twenty-four potentially environmentally hazardous properties were removed
prior to the auction with just under $3.4 million of unpaid taxes on those
properties.

All bids offered at auction must be paid in full within 15 business days.
