KINGSTON – A Staten Island man was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies for failure to pay $33,000 in delinquent child support.
William Coleman, 59, was charged with the family offense of failure to obey a child support order.
On April 16, the New York City Sheriff’s Office notified the Ulster Sheriff’s Office that they had Coleman in custody on an arrest warrant issued by Ulster County Family Court. Deputies traveled to New York City and took him into custody. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
Ulster deputies were assisted by the New York City Sheriff’s Office.
