WAPPINGER – A Hyde Park man was charged with felony assault after he allegedly assaulted another man in the parking lot of a business in the Town of Wappinger on Monday, March 11.
Jason Berkowitz had fled the scene before police arrived and following an investigation, he was arrested on Monday, March 30.
The victim, a 26-year-old East Fishkill man, was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries.
Berkowitz was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
