Suffern man arrested for stealing checks, cashing them at Middletown bank

MIDDLETOWN – A Suffern man was arrested and charged with felony burglary in connection with stolen personal checks.
State Police allege that John Schroeder, 23, entered a residence in Campbell Hall and stole checks, which were later found to be cashed at a bank in Middletown.
Schroeder was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
