KINGSTON – A Napanoch man has been
arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and charged with
stalking and harassment for sending over 100 harassing text messages to
a woman.
Andrew Reider, 47, was charged after a woman told deputies that he had
been harassing her and coming to her place of employment in Ellenville
and sent over 100 harassing text messages.
During the investigation, deputies contacted Reider and told him to stop
making contact with the woman, but the woman reported he continued to
harass her sending several more harassing text messages and going to her
home in the Town of Rochester.
After his arrest, Reider was released on his own recognizance pending
a future court appearance.
