Port Ewen woman arrested in Kingston on drug charges

KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston
have arrested an 18-year-old woman following an investigation over a several
week period into crack cocaine being sold city-wide.

On Wednesday, March 18 detectives determined the drugs were being stored
in the Port Ewen area and went to a location in Sleightburgh where they
found the woman and a substantial amount of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect, who police did not publicly identify, was arrested and charged
with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally
using drug paraphernalia.

The Kingston Police Special Investigations Unit was assisted by the Ulster
Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.
